What materials are products made of? (Hand Crafted Jewelry Items)
- Seed Beads- Glass. All of high quality. Most are made in Japan or Czech Republic. 11/0 or 11'. Millimeter size is 1.8 or 1.6. Referred to as Miyuki Delicas, Delica Beads.
- Acrylic/Ceramic Beads- Some of the secondary beads used to enhance designs are made using high quality acrylic or ceramic. High quality to withstand wear and tear.
- Sowing Thread- used in brickstitch to sow the beads together in patterns.
- Fishing line/Mono Cord- all most invisible cord used to make products. Thin and flexible to make products movable.
- Clear or White Elastic- used for BOHO bracelets. This is a stretchy material used so no clasps are needed. Also referred to as stretch cord
- Fake Leather- used on some items. Has the soft feel of treated leather but is more cost efficient and easier to work with.
- UV (blacklight cured) Resin. This is used in many smaller easier to make earrings and other various small items. Also used to dome items and seal some clay items.
- 2 Part Resin- 2-part Craft Resin. A mix of epoxy and hardener. Used in many different items. Become hard almost like a rock when cured.
- Mica Powder-(Same powder used in some eyeshadows)
- Alcohol Ink
- Glitter
- Acrylic Paint
- Various other fillers
- Polymer Clay- used for clay earring and other various clay crafts. This is hand sculpted and baked to become durable and solid. Can have some glitter or other color variants added to it as well as sealants to make it glossy.
- Sealants and glues- clear nail polish, super glue, spray sealants, E6000
